The fridge itself also seems to meet all my expectations regarding quality and is whisper quiet.

The problem with this fridge is the internal shelf spacing. If you have nothing but Bordeaux and Riesling style bottles it would
Be great.
But it certainly does not support burgundy style Bottles very well at all.
The construction of the shelves and the spacing of the slides means you have to waste two whole spots in order to accomodate a single row of burgundy style bottles. And unless you only have one style or producer of the same bottle, attempting to stack them neatly to maximise the storage is a nightmare and turns into an unstable ugly mess.
If LECAVIST could make a wire rack shelf for this model to suit these thicker bottles and lower the overall height whilst laying down on the shelf so that all shelf slides could be used I would have no problem with buying them and rating this a 5 star fridge. However as it is now, it’s a poorly thought out design and wasted potential.

Lots of space for bottles but the control is a bit basic and the light on the control panel cannot be dimmed down or turned off. It can be noisy at times but in general, if not in a quiet area, it is acceptable. It is more for storage than for display. I would have liked the glass holder to be removable.
